How to view media, links, and documents
Find photos, videos, voice messages, documents, and links previously shared in a chat.
HiYou collects shared content from each conversation in one place, so you do not need to scroll through the chat to find it again.
Open shared content
- Open an individual or group chat.
- Tap the chat or group name at the top to open chat info.
- Tap Media, links, and docs.
- Choose Media, Audio, Docs, or Links.

What each section contains
- Media shows shared photos, photo albums, and videos in a grid. Tap a photo to open the image viewer or a video to play it.
- Audio shows shared voice messages with their date and time. Tap one to open it in an available audio player.
- Docs lists shared documents by filename. Tap a document to open it with a compatible app.
- Links lists web addresses found in chat messages. Tap a link to open it in your browser.
Each screen belongs to the chat you opened; content shared in other conversations is not mixed into the list.
If an item no longer has a local cached copy, HiYou uses its remote address when one is still available. An item may fail to open if it was removed remotely, your device is offline, or no compatible app is installed.
