How to reply to a message
Reply to a specific message in an individual or group chat.
You can reply to a specific message so everyone can see which message your response refers to.
- Open an individual or group chat.
- Swipe the message to the right, or press and hold it and choose Reply.
- Enter your response and tap Send.
- Open an individual or group chat.
- Press and hold the message, then choose Reply.
- Enter your response and tap Send.
To cancel before sending, tap the close button on the reply preview above the message box. Tap a reply quote in the conversation to jump to the original message.
