How to create a birthday card
Send a birthday card to a contact on their actual birthday.
There is no manual way to open this feature from the attachment menu. It appears automatically, and only when all of these are true: you have a 1:1 chat open (not a group), the other person has added their birthday to their profile, and today is that day.
- Open your 1:1 chat with the person whose birthday it is today.
- Tap the cake button that appears automatically near the message box.
- Choose a card design: confetti, balloons, cake, fireworks, or gift.
- Edit the recipient's name or the note if you want. The default note is "Happy birthday!".
- Tap Send.
You can send one birthday card per person per day. To let your own friends see your birthday and get this option on your special day, add your birth date in Profile settings under Add birthday.
