How to add or remove a passkey
Register a passkey for your account using your fingerprint, face, or screen lock.
A passkey currently only secures account-management actions on this device - it is not yet a way to sign in to HiYou instead of your phone number and SMS code.
Add a passkey
- Open Settings, then tap Account.
- Under Passkeys, tap Add a passkey.
- Confirm with your fingerprint, face, or screen lock.
You can add more than one passkey - for example, one from each device you use.
Remove a passkey
- On the Account screen, tap the trash icon next to the passkey.
- Confirm the removal.
Naming differs slightly by platform: Android labels every new passkey "Passkey," while iPhone names it after your device (for example, "Jane's iPhone"). This is just a label difference, not a functional one.
