About account bans
Learn what happens if your HiYou account is banned or suspended.
If HiYou finds that your account broke its rules, it may be temporarily suspended or permanently banned. You'll see a full-screen notice the next time the app checks your session - it can't be dismissed without signing out.
What you'll see
- Banned: "Account banned" - your account has been permanently banned and can no longer sign in.
- Suspended: "Account suspended" - a message telling you when you'll be able to sign in again, or that the suspension is temporary if no end date is given.
Tapping OK signs you out of HiYou on that device.
Appeals
HiYou doesn't show a reason for the ban or suspension in the app, and the notice has no appeal button. Since it blocks the rest of the app, the only way to ask about it is from outside the app - visit the help center at hiyou.me/help from a browser.
