How to download or uninstall HiYou
Install HiYou on an Android phone or iPhone, or remove it when you no longer need it.
Download and install
Open the HiYou download page on your phone and choose your platform. Store buttons appear when an official link is available.
- Choose the Android Google Play button on the download page.
- On the linked store listing, tap Install.
- When installation finishes, tap Open.
- Choose the iPhone App Store button on the download page.
- On the linked store listing, tap Get and confirm if requested.
- When installation finishes, tap Open.
If the page says "Store link will be added soon", installation through that page is not available yet. Check back for the official link.
Uninstall HiYou
Uninstalling removes the app and any messages stored only on this device. It does not delete your HiYou account.
- Press and hold the HiYou icon on your home screen or in the app drawer.
- Tap Uninstall (or drag the icon to the Uninstall option), then confirm.
- Alternatively, go to Settings > Apps, select HiYou, and tap Uninstall.
- Press and hold the HiYou icon on your home screen until the menu appears.
- Tap Remove App, then tap Delete App to confirm.
- Alternatively, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, select HiYou, and tap Delete App.
To use HiYou again later, reinstall it and sign back in with the same phone number.
