How to register your phone number
Verify your phone number with an SMS code to start using HiYou.
Use a phone number that can receive SMS. The button names below match the English app interface.
- Open HiYou. If the welcome screens appear, tap NEXT until GET STARTED, or tap SKIP.
- Select your country and enter your phone number in the field beside the country code.
- Tap AGREE AND CONTINUE to request an SMS code.
- Enter the six-digit SMS code, then tap Verify.
- For a new account, enter a Display name (1-50 characters) on Profile info, then tap Next.
- Open HiYou. If the welcome screens appear, tap NEXT until GET STARTED, or tap SKIP.
- Select your country and enter your phone number in the field beside the country code.
- Tap AGREE AND CONTINUE to request an SMS code.
- Enter the six-digit SMS code, then tap Verify.
- For a new account, enter your Name (1-50 characters) on Create your profile, then tap Continue.
If the code does not arrive, check the number shown and tap Resend code. Use Change phone number to correct it. Never share your verification code.
Registering again on a new device
If you already have a HiYou account, enter the same phone number and SMS code on your new device. This signs you in without asking for anything beyond the code - there is no extra PIN or waiting period.
