How to make a 1:1 video call
Call a contact face-to-face from a chat, or find them from the Calls tab.
You can start a video call with a contact from an open chat, or look them up without opening a chat first.
- Open the chat with the contact, or go to the Calls tab and tap New call to find them.
- In an open chat, tap the video icon at the top of the screen. From the New call screen, tap the video icon next to their name instead.
- Wait for them to accept your call.
- Open the chat with the contact, or go to the Calls tab and tap the search icon to find them.
- In an open chat, tap the video icon at the top of the screen. From the search screen, tap the video icon next to their name instead.
- Wait for them to accept your call.
During the call, use the on-screen controls to mute your microphone, switch to speaker, or end the call.
